‘Bully’ jumps into trench after victim raises cutlass

After what was alleged to be months of continuous torment at the hands of virtual complainant Randy Bradshaw, defendant Vijay Naideo allegedly raised a cutlass on him forcing him to jump into a trench. Appearing in court yesterday in front of Magistrate Faith McGusty, Naideo was charged with threatening behaviour and pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was placed on $10,000 bail and ordered to return to court on June 2.

Naideo’s lawyer Melvin Duke related to the court that the VC had an ongoing issue with his client and continuously “tormented” him.

Naideo, a 41-year-old father of one, works as an IT technician and has no prior issue with the law.

Duke argued that the VC was in fact the aggressor in the conflict and that Naideo was simply attempting to defend himself from a man who has continuously bullied him.
