Doctors at the Georgetown Hospital were up to press time attending to a man who was stabbed during an apparent robbery on Camp Street near North Road.
The injured man has been identified as Akeem Towler aged 20 of La Pentience who was stabbed in his left side.
He arrived at the Georgetown Hospital at 8.40 pm and was immediately taken into the treatment room as the wound was bleeding badly. This newspaper was told that he was attacked near a dark alley. It is unclear what was taken from him.
