Craig man shot in home invasion

At about 0145h. today, police say that Amarnauth Ramdeen, 19 years, of Craig Village, EBD, was aroused by noise in his home and on checking was confronted by three men, two of whom were armed with firearms.

One of the men discharged a round that struck Ramdeen to his right elbow, as they escaped through an incomplete window.

Police say that Ramdeen has been admitted to hospital as the investigations continue.
