DJ `Casual’, other man shot at stadium

The police today said that at about 0410h. today, Curtis Armstrong called “Casual”, 34 years, of Guyhoc Park, Georgetown, was involved in an argument and subsequent scuffle with two men in the car park at the Providence Stadium.

Sean Hinds, 30 years, of North Ruimveldt, Georgetown, intervened and one of the two men pulled out a firearm and shot Armstrong to his abdomen and left hand, and Hinds to his left foot, after which they escaped, police said.

Armstrong and Hinds have been admitted to hospital.

Investigations are in progress.
