Lions Club distributes kites to children

The Lions Club of Georgetown Stabroek has donated over 100 kites to less fortunate children for the Easter season.

Lion Natasha Philip said the kite sharing started at Leopold Street, Werk-en-Rust where over 100 children received kites.

She added that children at the Drop-in Centre for children also benefited from this initiative. Phillip said the club does this every year and each year the number of children benefiting increases.
