The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) remembers Chair-man of the Private Sector Commission Ronald Webster as “a visionary businessman and leader” and it is shocked and saddened at his passing.
Webster who was also the CEO of Caribbean Container Incorporated, saw opportunities where others saw none, the GCCI said in a press release.
“His contributions to the development of the business environment in Guyana have been enormous and they now present opportunities for learning in future generations,” the group said. “There is no doubt that the death of Mr Webster is an irrecoverable loss to the business world.”
The GCCI Council and Executive Management Committee and members extend condolences to Webster’s relatives, friends and employees of Caribbean Container Inc.
