Essequibo man murdered at Potaro

Investigations are being conducted into the murder of a 50-year-old man at Blackwater Landing, Potaro, Region Seven.

According to reports, Gregory Gibson, of Bush Lot, Essequibo Coast got into an argument with another man over money on Sunday when he was struck to the head with a piece of wood.

It was further stated that he was pronounced dead on arrival at the Mahdia hospital.

Police say the suspect is still at large.
