Police probing murder of Lima Sands man

The police say are investigating the murder of Edward Williams, 58 years, of Lima Sands, Essequibo Coast, which occurred during yesterday at Anna Regina Housing Scheme, Essequibo Coast.

Police say that investigations have revealed that Williams was among a group of men imbibing, when an argument developed during which he was stabbed to his body. He succumbed while receiving medical attention at the Suddie Hospital.

The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
