Months after the removal of Leila King, Guyana’s Honorary Consul in Boa Vista Brazil, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is yet to reveal the findings of the investigations over wrongdoings.
Stabroek News was made to understand that the post has been left vacant since King was removed although she is still listed as the contact person for the consulate. This publication has reached out to the ministry on multiple occasions, but was told that only Minister Carolyn Rodrigues-Birkett would be able to make an official comment on the investigation and the findings.
