Linden boy hospitalized after pit bull attack

An 11-year-old boy is now a patient of the Georgetown Public Hospital nursing injuries to the throat and buttocks after he was attacked by a pit bull.

Injured is Daquan Gordon of Blue Berry Hill Linden, who was transported by ambulance from the Linden Hospital Complex. He arrived at the Georgetown Hospital around 5 pm.

It is unclear how he was attacked by the pit bull.

Stabroek News was told that the dog missed the child’s jugular vein by inches.

After being attended to in the emergency room, he was admitted to the Paediatric Ward.
