Salesman shot at Enterprise

The police say they are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at about 0930h. today at Enterprise, ECD, where Mohendra Persaud, 48 years, a driver/salesman employed with Edward Beharry Company Limited was attacked and robbed by a man armed with a handgun.
Investigations revealed that the victim was making a delivery when he was held at gun point by the perpetrator who took away a sum of cash and escaped on a bicycle.
During the robbery Persaud was shot and injured. He has been admitted to hospital.
Investigations are in progress.
