Three injured after bus topples at Walton Hall

A minibus driver and two other persons were injured in an accident late Monday night, after the bus they were in crashed into a tree then toppled.

According to reports, at around 11.45 pm on Monday, the minibus bearing number plate PKK 9351 was driving along the Walton Hall Public Road when on approaching a pivotal turn, the driver lost control of the vehicle causing it to slam into a tree then topple into a nearby trench.

“It was late … we hear a loud noise and when watch out we see the bus in the trench there. I hear that the bus is a private bus but nobody ain’t get serious damage,” an eyewitness recalled.       The three injured persons were identified as 32-year-old Falena Lyte and 37-year-old Trenton Garraway both of Reliance and Carmelita Brumell of Dartmouth.

They were taken to the Suddie Public Hospital and admitted there for observation.
