Passenger held at airport with cocaine

At about 0100h today, police ranks of the Police Narcotics Branch conducted a search on the baggage of an American Citizen on an outgoing flight at the CJIA.

A total of 7 kilograms 57 grams of cocaine were found in his suitcase, concealed in milk packets, police say.

The man has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
