Expressions returns to the Theatre Guild

The works of Shakes-peare, Walcott, Seymour, Carter and others are set to share the stage again, when ‘Expressions’ returns to the Theatre Guild on Thursday, July 10.

A Gems Theatre Productions presentation, ‘Expressions’ is expected to feature the likes of such veterans as Ron Robinson, Derek Gomes, Jennifer Thomas and Russell Lancaster.

Readings will also be done by Kit Nascimento, Vanda Radzik and Petamber Persaud as well as students of the National School of Theatre Arts and Drama.

The audience should also expect to enjoy the works of Ian McDonald, David Dabydeen,Wordsworth McAndrew, Paul Keens Douglas, Louis Bennet, Ivan Forrester, Mahadai Das, Yaphet Jackman and others.

Nuriyyih Gerrard, Mark Luke Edwards, Randy Critchlow, Leza Singh, Kimberly Samuels and other bright young stars will also perform.

There will be two performances, a matinee for schools at 1 pm for which tickets cost $500.

The evening show starts promptly at 20:00 hrs and tickets cost $1,000 each and are available at the Guild, Oasis Café and Nigel’s Supermarket.
