A 35-year-old fireman was yesterday placed on $100,000 bail and ordered not to be within 500 yards of a man he is accused of intending to maim, disfigure and disable.
Steven Wellington of 599 Section C Sophia is alleged to have unlawfully and maliciously wounded Jevon Glasgow on June 3 with intent to maim, disfigure, disable or cause him grievous bodily harm.
The man pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read to him by Magistrate Ann McLennan before whom he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
