Charged with October murder of Sparendaam man

After being on the run for almost eight months, Anthony Henry was on Thursday charged with the murder of Michael Hamilton.

Henry called `Oswald’, 22 of Lot 56 Third Street, Goedverwagting, East Coast Demerara appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Sueann Lovell. He was subsequently remanded to prison.

Hamilton was gunned down by a man as he was making his way to his aunt’s home on October 7 last.
