Body of missing fisher washes up at Kildonan

At about 0600h. today, police say that the decomposed body of Omesh Derhup, 36 years, of Skeldon, Corentyne, was found on the foreshore at Kildonan, Corentyne, Berbice.

Derhup is one of the five fishermen who left for sea on July 11, 2014, aboard the fishing boat “Miss Seema” that was found on the Whim Foreshore, Corentyne on July 25, 2014.

The investigations are continuing.
