Albouystown businessman shot in robbery

At about 2230h. last night, police say that businessman Joel Sullivan, 35 years, of James Street, Albouystown, was in the process of closing his business place at James Street when he was attacked by a man armed with a firearm who demanded his valuables.

Sullivan put up resistance and was shot and injured to his chest by the armed man who escaped.

Sullivan has been admitted to hospital for medical treatment.
