Woman suffers broken leg after cars collide

Two cars were involved in a collision last night in the vicinity of Shirley Field Ridley Square, while travelers were heading home from an Emancipation celebration.

A police source said around 7:30 pm, the two cars were racing along the road when the accident occurred.

Five persons were in one car, while two were in the other one, which was suspected to have been used as a taxi. One person, Tiffany Grey, was seriously injured and was undergoing surgery for a broken leg at the Georgetown Public Hospital up to press time. The others were treated and sent away.

Family members of Grey declined to speak on the matter.
