Brazilian man dies in Lethem crash, four others hurt

At about 0710h. today, police say that Brazilian National Theotonio Santa Cruz Oliveira, 61 years, of Lethem, was driving his motor vehicle along the roadway at Lethem when he collided with a motor vehicle proceeding in the opposite direction that had allegedly veered into his lane. He suffered injuries and was taken to the Lethem Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Three other persons who were occupants of his vehicle and the driver of the other motor vehicle, who is also a Brazilian National, sustained injuries and are in hospital receiving medical treatment.

Investigations are in progress
