Canal No.1 man dies after beating

On August 06, 2014, police say that Ayube Khan, 53 years, of Canal No. 1 Polder, WBD, was imbibing at a home in Canal No. 1 when he became involved in an argument with another man and during which he was struck to his head and about his body with a piece of wood.

Khan was admitted to the WDRH where he succumbed yesterday Saturday August 09, 2014.

The suspect has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.

In an earlier version of this story, the police had incorrectly named the deceased as Deryck Gocool.
