Plantation Brahan man dies after accident

At about 1055h. yesterday, police say that Parmendra Mohan, 49 years, of Plantation Brahan, WCB, was struck down by a motor car while walking along the roadway at D’ Edward Village, WBB.

He was taken to the New Amsterdam Hospital where he succumbed while receiving medical treatment.

The driver of the motor vehicle fled the scene, but was later arrested by police at Fort Wellington, WCB.

He is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
