A man was chased and shot by two men in a car on Monday night at Craig Street, Campbellville.
According to a witness, the shooting occurred around 10:30pm. She said she heard gunshots in the street next to hers before a single gunshot rang out in her street. She said after the gunshot she peeped through her window and saw a car driving away.
She added that people started to gather around the man, who was transported in a taxi to the Georgetown Public Hospital. The woman said from all appearances the man did not live in her street.
According to information received, the man was treated at the hospital and discharged.
