Two persons have been arrested by police after a mobile patrol found eight pounds of cannabis in the vehicle they were travelling in at East Canje.
According to a police press release, on Sunday evening at approximately 9 pm, ranks on mobile patrol stopped and searched a motor car with licence plate number HC 3384, on Sheet Anchor Public Road and found 3,660 grammes [eight pounds] of cannabis in a bag.
The two persons arrested are assisting with investigations, the release said.
