At about 1430h. yesterday, police say that Harry Persaud, 34 years, of 139 Tuschen, EBE, was in a motor vehicle along with a friend on the Eccles Old Road, EBD, when they were attached by two men on a motor cycle armed with firearms.
They were held at gunpoint and police say that Persaud was robbed of $1,168,000 during which he was shot to his left hand and left thigh. The men escaped on the motor cycle.
Persaud has been admitted at the GPHC.
Investigations are in progress.
