The rehabilitated Ptolemy Reid Rehabilitation Centre (PRRC) was yesterday rededicated at a simple ceremony.
The PRRC and Digicel Guyana had signed a Memorandum of Understanding in December last year for major rehabilitation works to be undertaken at the facility.
This alliance came about as a result of a request made by the PRRC, which provides rehabilitative and other services for children with disabilities.
The works included repainting of the building, refurbishing of the access ramps, physiotherapy flooring, roof and other parts of the building.
Digicel had also donated $1 million for the refurbishment of the dining area at the centre last year.
