At about 1605h. today, police say that two men, one of whom was armed with a firearm, entered the Style Palace General Store at King Street, Georgetown, and demanded cash from businesswoman Rakeema Ally, 60 years, of Peter’s Hall, EBD.
The businesswoman grabbed a cutlass and put up a resistance, while businessman and licensed firearm holder Inshan Ally reached for his firearm, police say. During this the armed perpetrator shot Inshan Ally to his left side and they fled.
Inshan Ally is receiving medical treatment at a hospital.
