Does the Ministry of Education have the service of a CXC mathematics representative in Guyana?
It is my belief that if such exists, that person should peruse as quickly as possible the last implemented CXC mathematics examination paper for the identification of defects.
Teachers in the system who use past examination papers as references and reinforcement exercises in the classroom should be informed of defects and advised accordingly.
If such a person does not exist, then I think the Ministry of Education should utilize its current subject specialists to execute the above.
