What precautionary measures are in place locally against ebola?

Dear Editor,

It is now widely known that most countries in the Western world have already started to take major precautionary measures against the deadly ebola epidemic that is currently plaguing several African countries and is now in the United States.

With respect, would the Minister of Health tell the nation authoritatively what precautionary measures are already in place to combat that deadly disease if it is brought here?

We read that the first diagnosed case of ebola in the United States, along with concerns that others might have been exposed, have spurred calls for the Obama administration to at least consider more severe measures to contain the virus – including blocking flights from ebola-stricken countries.

Yours faithfully,
