My name is Dennis Ray LaBorde – Born 25 January 1944 in Georgetown, BG, to Peggy Rita (née – Alicock) and Supt Dennis Ray (Dick) LaBorde.
I have been trying to trace/make contact with two old school friends for many years now, namely:
Christopher Young, born at Uitvlugt WCD, circa 1944/45 – Father was a manager at the Uitvlugt Estate – Chris had two brothers, “Buddy” Young and Andrew Young. They all went to St Stanislaus College. Chris left for England circa 1962 and joined the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) – although, it may have been the Royal Engineers (RE). Buddy worked at Lusignan Estate. Andrew was still at school in 1962.
Alexander Waite, born and raised at Leonora, WCD.
I would be most grateful if you might be able to let me know if there is any way that I could get in touch with them.
I am now 70 years of age and the last time I saw Alex was back in 1962 and Chris in 1965 (in, of all places, Saudi Arabia, when we were both travelling around the world).
