West Indies U19s begin one week training camp at HPC

BRIDGETOWN, Barbados, CMC-The West Indies’ 15-member team selected for the World Cup in the United Arab Emiratesnext month was yesterday scheduled to begin a one-week preparatory camp in Barbados, at the Sagicor High Performance Centre.

The team is led by off-spinning all-rounder Ramaal Lewis who will be assisted by wicketkeeper-batsman Nicolas Pooran.

West Indies are placed in Group C at the World Cup, alongside South Africa, Zimbabwe and Canada.

Their first game is on the opening day of the tournament, February 14, against South Africa in Dubai.
