Bush Lot sports club launches u-19 cricket tourney

The Bush Lot United Sports Club (BLUSC) continues to progress from strength to strength; launching its first tournament, the Singh Jewellery Under-19 Cricket Competition last Sunday at its pavilion.

In front of an audience comprising the captains of the participating teams, sponsors and BLUSC executives,

club president Robby Saywack urged other private enterprises to “come on board and join hands with organizations to sponsor activities for the youths in the communities.” He also spoke of the importance of “fair play, discipline, team work and the opportunities that abound in cricket” and urged other clubs to “follow the path cut by the BLUSC.”  Saywack also lauded sponsor Bramdat Singh and urged him to continue to support the club in the coming years.

In his brief remarks, Singh encouraged the teams and players to use the competition as a stepping stone for greater achievements in cricket.
