Persaud steers Wales to Cheddi Jagan Memorial T20 title

A sterling all-round performance from Mahesh Persaud steered Wales Community Development Centre Cricket Club (WCDC) to the West Demerara Cheddi Jagan Memorial T20 cricket competition title after the team secured wins in their semi-final and final matches played last Sunday.

In the semi-final, contested at the Wales Community Centre, Wales made light work of the Sisters Village Sports Club team defeating them by 8-wickets.
