Giftland support for Hugh Ross Classic

Giftland Office Max and Woodpecker Trophies and Sports have joined the support base of the fourth Hugh Ross Classic (HRC) Body Building and Fitness Show.

The two entities handed over their contributions to the HRC Committee Chairman, Hugh Ross and Finance officer Dexter Garnett recently, for the show billed for March 29 at the National Cultural Centre.

Team Leader – Marketing & Production of Giftland OfficeMax, Christel Van Sluytman, handed over the company’s sponsorship to Ross and stated that Giftland was happy to be a part of the show once again.

Van Sluytman noted that Giftland has been playing its role with regards to sports development in Guyana and has been working along closely with a number of bodybuilders by providing them with endorsement deals over the years.

“The HRC is just another vehicle which Giftland OfficeMax uses to fulfill our corporate responsibility towards our sportsmen and women and we are elated to be on board. We wish the organisers and the athletes a successful show.”

Meanwhile, Tinelle Beckles, Sales Representative of Woodpecker Trophies and Sports presented the sponsorship cheque to Garnett and mentioned that the establishment has been supportive of the HRC before and will continue to play their role in support of local athletes.

In the aftermath of the presentations, both Ross and Garnett expressed gratitude to the establishments.

Tickets for the show are expected to go on sale this week. Guest poser, IFBB Professional bodybuilder, Jeff Beckham is scheduled to be in Guyana on Monday. The event is billed to commence at 19:00hrs.
