Canada crush Guyana in PanAm indoor hockey cup

Team Canada crushed Team Guyana 6-0 in their third group match-up, when the Pan American Indoor Hockey Cup was held on Wednesday in Montevideo, Uruguay.

Ken Pereira opened the scoring for the Canadians in the first minute of play through a field goal strike. They doubled their lead 10 minutes later when Jonathan Roberts netted, compliments of a field goal strike. Roberts further increased the North American unit’s advantage, sealing his double in the 18th minute from a penalty corner conversion.

Devohn Teixeira Noronha made it 4-0 for the Canadians in the 25th minute, scoring through a field goal effort. It became 5-0 seven minutes later when Tyler Branco found the back of the net through a field goal attempt. The result was sealed one minute later when Pereira completed his double through a field goal.
