Soca Warriors begin preparations for clashes against Argentina and Iran

PORT-OF-SPAIN, Trinidad, CMC-Trinidad and Tobago’s foreign based players have begun arriving here as the country begins preparations for international football friendlies against Argentina and Iran next month.

English-based duo Andre Boucaud and Justin Hoyte have been among the first joining the national team camp of 22 players selected by head coach Stephen Hart.

“It’s obviously two huge matches for us. And it’s important for us to come together at least a week before,” said Boucaud who has been participating in the English season with Notts County.

“We haven’t been together as a team since last November when we played Jamaica but I’m pretty sure all the boys are very eager to give their best in the training camp and to get everything in place for the game against Argentina”.
