La Rose brings out World Cup football publication

Veteran local journalist Allan La Rose has officially released the 2014 World Cup Glory Souvenir Guide ahead of the upcoming World Cup finals in neighboring Brazil.

20140609football logoLa Rose during an invited comment said: “This is a culmination of preserving World Cup records of which I have been associated with since 1970 when I became privy to the world Cup as a youth. It’s about sharing the knowledge and excitement of World Cup Football.”

He added that while his vision of publishing a book documenting the World Cup successes of our illustrious neighbors did not materialize, he noted “This is my gift to Guyana for the World Cup in Brazil.”

He stated that the magazine encapsulates the entire history of the event and features all the associated records, fixtures, team profiles and information necessary to improve an individual’s knowledge of the event. The issue can be found on newsstands countrywide for $300.
