Kemo Paul scored his third half century in as many matches as Guyana claimed victory over Trinidad.

Kemo Paul steered Guyana to a third successive victory as action in the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) Regional Under-19 Limited Overs Tournament continued yesterday at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) ground, Bourda.

Paul struck his third consecutive half-century of the tournament to give the host a convincing victory by five wickets over Trinidad and Tobago. His innings of 74 from 67 deliveries got Guyana to its target of 164 safely. Paul, who scored 86 and 51 in the first two rounds, scored his runs at a strike rate of 110.4 before getting out one run short of his team’s victory. The youngster from the Cinderella County reached his fifty with his third six that was hit powerfully over long-off. His innings contained three fours and six sixes.
