Shane Boyce gave the Gunners the early lead as he netted in the first minute. Shawn Williams would then double their lead, scoring seven minutes later. John Waldron would then cut the deficit to one for Tuschen Up-Top-Youths as he scored in the ninth minute.

He would then level the scores, completing his double through a 13th minute conversion. The come-from-behind win would then be sealed in the 17th minute as Devon Millington etched his name on the scorer’s sheet.

In the final matchup of the night, Vergenoegen All-Stars and Stewartville played to a 1-1 draw. Tyrone Lewis gave the home side the early lead with a 12th minute strike. However Marvin Henry would earn a share of the spoils for his side as he netted in the 19th minute.

Also progressing to the next round in the event was Georgetown side Broad Street who defeated fellow city unit Future 1-0. Broad Street in the earlier matchup of the night went down to Showstoppers by a 2-1 margin and needed to secure the win to progress.

Future failed to secure their path out of the group due to goal difference despite defeating Showstoppers by a 1-0 margin in their earlier matchup. The action is slated to continue at the same venue tonight with several matchups.
