“The car is in a 100 pieces,” Ten-Pow told Stabroek Sport yesterday.

“We are in the process right now of rebuilding it. We have to build a new engine and hopefully we will be able to get it back for next weekend.

“Basically we are striving all the time to perfect the car to make it more reliable.”

More reliable to do what it does best, provide hair raising, mind blowing excitement for motor racing fans that throng the venue.

Ten-Pow said the car’s pieces are being put together with the aim of running at an optimum level.

“Hopefully he will be running up front. We are working on reliability on the whole because racing is something that one day you’re up next day you’re down but our aim is to win.

“My aim is to win every race,” Ten-Pow concluded.

Jeffrey is scheduled to put his pedal to metal in the Group Four category but Group 1, 2 and three drivers and the Go-Kart pushers will provide exhilarating, adrenaline rushing excitement to race fans.

So too will the Super Bikers.

Drivers from Suriname and Trinidad will also add some international flavor to the meet.

Action starts from 10:00hrs. See you there. (Emmerson Campbell)
