This year’s highly anticipated three-day Inter Services Athletics Championship commonly referred to as the ‘Joint Services Championship’ is set to run off on October 14.
The annual fixture which is the premier track and field event for the disciplined forces, will be staged at the Camp Ayangana ground.
Fierce competition is expected between holders, the Guyana Police Force and the host, the Guyana Defense Force, both front runners in the event.
The other two rivals are the Guyana Fire Service and the Guyana Prison Service.
