Greaves to celebrate birthday with Dash for Cash race

National cyclist, Alanzo Greaves will celebrate his birth anniversary by doing what he does best.

Greaves, who turns 25 on September 30, will commemorate his milestone by staging the Alanzo Greaves Dash for Cash race tomorrow in the inner circuit of the National Park.

The Roraima Bikers wheelsman along with the nation’s best cyclists will be back on their saddles competing for lucrative cash prizes in the highly anticipated 30-lap event.

For the inaugural event which pedals off at 08:00hrs, there will be a sprint prize of $2000 for every lap, giving each starter a chance to ride home with incentives.

What is guaranteed however, is that the top three finishers will pocket handsome amounts of cash prizes and medals.

National riders, Marlon Williams, Paul DeNobrega, Raynauth Jeffrey, and Michael Anthony along with the in-form Hamza Eastman, Godfrey Pollydore, Chris Holder, Robin Persaud and others are expected to saddle up for tomorrow’s race.

There will also be three BMX races. The top three finishers in each of those race will also pocket cash incentives.

Greaves noted that he hopes to make the event a calendar one.
