Lucky ticket holders could win trip to Aruba at fourth annual Guyana Softball Cup competition

Two lucky cricket fans attending the final of the fourth annual Guyana Cricket Cup softball tournament which is being held later this month by the Guyana Floodlight Softball Cricket Association (GFSCA) will win tickets to Aruba.

On Saturday, Survival Supermarket on Vlissengen Road, presented the GFSCA with the two tickets.

Making the presentation was Survival Travel Agency’s Assistant Manager, Mark DeFreitas, who said that the was proud to be associated with the tournament as Survival Supermarket was one of the initial sponsors of the competition.

Rohan Booj-Raj, who received the tickets on behalf of the GFSCA, thanked Survival Supermarket for the “significant investment.”

He said that the company’s sponsorship will go a long way to making the tournament a huge success.

Spectators will be required to retain their half tickets on the day of the final for the drawing.

Over G$10m has been ploughed into this year’s tournament which will see the men’s Open champion receiving G$800,000 and a trophy and the runners-up G$2000, 000 and a trophy.

The winning team in the Masters’ category will receive G$600,000 and the runners-up G$150,000.

 

There will also be prizes for the Man-of-the-Match and the MVP’s of both divisions.

9:30 PM:Presentation Ceremony.

10 PM:Conclusion of Guyana Softball Cup 4”.
