Copa wings into Flex Night sponsorship

Copa Airlines is now onboard the fast approaching Flex Night 2014 runway.

This and other details were unveiled yesterday at the entity’s Camp Street office during a briefing with the media and the top brass of Flex Night’s Committee.

“We are pleased and proud to be officially onboard with Flex Night Incorporated”, country sales manager, Nadine Oudkerk stated after pointing out that Copa Airlines currently offers services to 69 destinations in 30 countries in North, Central, South America and the Caribbean.

Copa Airlines which opened its door in Guyana this past July, is a subsidiary of Copa Holdings, S.A.

Managing Director of Flex Night Inc. Donald Sinclair was excited at partnering with the airline.

“For us it’s a very exciting partnership not only for the Directors of Flex Night and the athletes, but for every person who is going to be buying a ticket for December 7.

Sinclair highlighted that “What Copa is offering us in our partnership is a return ticket which some lucky patron is going to win. A return ticket to any of Copa’s 69 destinations.

This is something that we will be promoting and advertising and Copa will be there at Flex Night to hand over the ticket.

Sinclair added “We know the motto of Flex Night is raising the Bar and this partnership with Copa raises the bar 33000 feet, it’s really a first for us.

We have had relations with airlines before but this kind of partnership in its initial stage we have not received.

Following Oudkerk’s presentation of a letter of Copa’s commitment to Flex Night’s Director of External Resources, David Gomes, Sinclair proclaimed the following: “After Flex Night 2014 I’m sure that Copa and Flex Night’s Committee will be talking again on how our relationship can be expanded.”

Gomes then thanked Oudkerk on behalf of Flex Night Inc.

On that highly anticipated night, musclemen and women from Guyana as well as neighbouring and regional bodybuilders will compete for cash prizes, trophies and supplement hampers in four categories.

This year’s edition will feature for the first time the Men’s Physique segment along with the customary, Mr. Flex Night, Ms. Bikini and Ms. Best Legs categories. According to Sinclair, so far 41 athletes (nine females) have registered for the show. (Emmerson Campbell)
