Foo spurs Universal DVD B/ce Titans to successful title defence

It seems as if Jonathan Foo has not yet lost his ability to play T20 cricket.

Foo burst upon the scene by playing a match-winning innings for Guyana in the 2010 regional T20 competition.

On Saturday, at the Albion Community Development Centre ground, he reminded the bowlers of the Universal President’s XI of his precocious talent by spearheading Universal DVD Berbice Titans to a 29-run victory and a successful title defence of the ninth annual Universal DVD Club and Universal Solutions anniversary T20 Festival.

In reply Universal President’s XI got 35 from Keon de Jesus (two fours) and 11 from Sherwin Murray but the remaining batsmen looked threatening while at the crease but failed to deliver the goods.
