Under the Government of Guyana Clean-Up My Country Programme, the Bartica Interim Management Committee received equipment for the sustaining of the clean-up programme within Bartica and its environs, a release from the Ministry of Local Government said on Saturday.The equipment was valued at $14.7m and comprised one mini excavator, one tractor and trailer, and 25 solid waste receptacles.In photo, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Collin Croal (left) hands over the equipment to Region Seven, Regional Executive Officer, Peter Ramotar.
