Still no sign of ASL plane

The search is continuing for the missing Air Services Limited plane according to Director General of the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) Zulficar Mohammed who said this morning that efforts are now being made to coordinate teams to conduct ground searches.

In giving an update on efforts, he said that the search continued on New Year’s Day with no success. “We are still searching’, he assured.

He said that they are now looking at a “ground search” adding that “we are trying to coordinate teams for this”.

The Britten Norman Islander went missing on December 28th over Region Eight with captain Nickolas Persaud and cargo handler David Bisnauth.
