Man held at airport over cocaine in flour, rice

A 31-year-old Guyanese man was caught with around 12 kilos of cocaine concealed in packets of flour and rice at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport, Timehri yesterday afternoon by ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotic Unit (CANU).

According to reports, the man was intercepted with the cocaine which was concealed in packets of rice and flour, when he was in the process of boarding a United States-bound Dynamic Airways flight.
