At about 0010h. today, Police say that Riburn Fraser, 48 years, of Manatee Place, South Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was about to enter his residence when he was attacked by two men, one of whom was armed with a handgun.
The armed man shot Fraser about his body and took away a total of $800,000 along with a quantity of foreign currency and documents from him and a female friend and escaped, police say.
Fraser has been admitted to the GPHC for medical treatment.
