At about 1300h. yesterday, police say that a confrontation occurred between two neighbouring families, involving a dispute over land, at Handsome Tree, Mahaica, ECD, during which Suresh Nandkishore, 26 years, of Handsome Tree, was beaten about his body. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the GPHC.
His father Gopaul Nandkishore, 52 years, was also beaten about his body and his brother Parmanand Nandkishore, 31 years, was chopped to his left hand, police say.
They have been admitted to hospital.
Three men have been arrested and are in police custody assisting with the investigations.
